The “Lunch & Learn” program schedule for October at the Women on the Way Program fell through on the last day (imagine – being pre-empted by the President of St Pete College!). However, tenacity pays off and Cathy Wagner and Marsha McGrath held a very well-attended, interactive “Smart Women Finish Rich” program for the women in February.

Our  club participated in the International Human Trafficking Awareness day. Each club in Southern Region was asked to host an awareness event and we did our part. We hosted two seminars at two different library locations on January 10th and 11th.

We shared a service project at the PACE Center for Girls in Pasco County. There were 6 girls from the program, 6 soon-to-be Soroptimists from the West Pasco area, 4 from the SI Tampa club and 5 from our club. We helped the girls build Dream Boards, make smoothies and had a great lunch.

Our club co-hosted the District meeting for Districts I & II.. The activities started with dinner at the Columbia with the flamenco show! The meeting was  at the Hampton Inn in Ybor .

We hosted a joint installation of Officers with the Tampa Club at the Home of our President Betsi in June.

We hosted a Christmas Party for ourselves at the home of member, Cathy.  We donated a gift card of $250 to a single mother & her children,  She is a member of Women on the Way at St. Petersburg College.
